No individual has sufficient Think And Grow Big, education, native ability, and knowledge to insure the accumulation of a great fortune, without the cooperation of other people. An idea is an impulse of thought that impels action, by an appeal to the imagination. The person who stops studying merely because he has finished school is forever hopelessly doomed to mediocrity, no matter what may be his calling. The way of success is the way of continuous pursuit of knowledge. School merely paves the way to learning how to acquire practical knowledge.

FAITH (The Second Step to Riches)

The most practical of all methods for controlling the mind is the habit of keeping it busy with a definite purpose, backed by a definite plan. Your subconscious mind functions voluntarily, whether you make any effort to influence it or not. This is why it’s so important to master negative impulses and actively feed it desirable food. Master Mind groups bring both economic advantages as well as psychic benefits (a cosmic harmony that generates a “third mind,” or spiritual unit of energy operating at a higher frequency).

  • If you are influenced by the opinions of others, you will have no desire of your own.
  • One such book is Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
  • Placing this written statement where you can see it first thing in the morning and last thing at night.
  • They come in response to definite demands, based upon the application of definite principles, and not by chance or luck.
  • But if you’re a rich person in the truest sense of the world, fulfillment is a natural byproduct.

I asked my friend to buy this book when he went to Canada for holidays around the year 1997. Base decisions on your desire and your own opinions (not others’). Your self-confidence will influence your thoughts and actions. To my great benefit, Ted actually worked with me in analyzing the book to help me pull out meaning from it. We could spend 1-2 hours at a time after work just talking about it and trying to figure out what the book was saying.

Life is about much more than getting rich. I do not see why anyone would not want to read this book. I was looking through some of the reviews and see that some people gave it five stars and some gave it only one. I think if the people who gave it one star would practice the principles given in this book they would quickly upgrade their rating. Hill did not claim to have met Carnegie until after his death in 1918.

Failure is not the end of the road, it’s lack of faith. Don’t let your fears overcome your faith in your vision. You can develop faith at will and by reminding yourself why on a daily basis, lest you forget.

HOW TO OUTWIT THE SIX GHOSTS OF FEAR (Clearing the Brain for Riches)

What are the main points of the book Think and Grow Rich?

The main benefit is that by combining the brain power of two or more people to solve problems, the result is more than the sum of its parts. There is a surplus from sharing experiences, ideas and skills that could never be achieved if each person worked on their stuff alone, and that's why Masterminds are so powerful.

One of the best books I’ve ever read. It kept me thinking the whole time about the ideas that I’ve encountered in this book. It talks about the new philosophy of enlightenment with practical applications of it.
